Presentation tools are widely used in education and can also be transferred to the field of music training in the opera sector, where it can be useful and effective to exploit the possibility of integrating multimedia content into the slides. Furthermore, by associating an audio commentary to the slides, it is possible to easily and inexpensively create lessons that can be used in self-training (asynchronous learning). Some tools also offer interactive features such as non-linear sequences, quizzes and exercises. In the Virtual Stage methodology, they were effectively used for score sharing in interactive remote working groups in asynchronous mode.
