O1 – Digital technologies in music education in opera. Analysis of the state of the art

The first Intellectual Output of the Virtual Stage project is an analysis of the methods, objectives and results of the use of digital technologies in vocational training in the opera sector, with particular reference to training and refresher courses for singers, instrumentalists and conductors.

The research will also be based on a survey based on questions posed to stakeholders in the opera training sector investigating i) perceptions of online training, ii) skills, knowledge and technological tools used by trainers and teachers, and iii) training experiences based on distance learning.
