FENDER TUNE
These are mobile applications specifically designed to help musicians tune their instruments. They simplify the implementation of practical lessons, with particular advantages for managing remote groups, where greater autonomy is required from the individual instrumentalist. Using the multimedia capabilities of devices such as tablets and smartphones and special sound databases, it is possible to provide references and measurements that allow highly accurate tunings to be obtained quickly. These applications were fundamental in the dissemination and piloting of the Virtual Stage method in which a vast repertoire with its peculiarities in the choice of pitch (not always 440 Hz) and temperament (not always equable) was tackled with a rigorous and philological approach. They were also used to great effect for the intonation of audio samples for MIDI instruments.
