How to use

Sound digitisation and digital sound management software comprise extremely powerful tools for recording, editing, producing and playing back digital music. They are key components of so-called DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations), i.e. those digital systems (hardware and software) with which artists, producers and sound engineers are able to manipulate sounds and music pieces at a high level of complexity. In the context of music training in the opera field, these technologies can find extremely fruitful uses for recording learners’ vocal and instrumental performances, evaluating them, editing recordings for training purposes, creating customised study exercises, experimenting with arrangements and audio effects, and creating musical bases for exercises.
